Place: Marie Raey Teaching Centre, ANU
Participants: Heajin 선생님, Matthew, Aditi, Tianyue, Rocky & 100.
In this week’s meeting, we listened to 박 선생님 present her research into the lives and works of three “granny Samsin”, who were some Australian nurses who undertook medical missionary work in Korea after the Korean War. The research was very well constructed, and presented in the form of a story map. We all enjoyed listening to an interesting and intimate piece of personal history that connects Australians and Koreans.
